Beautiful image created in Bryce, I love its rendering engine for creating new abstract textures. I'm always really impressed when someone creates something so detailed, powerful and dynamic.

Sony Ericsson P3

A slick concept design for a possible incarnation of the upcoming Sony Ericsson P3. The phone is intended to be Cyber-shot branded, has a 6 mega pixel camera and Carl Zeiss lens with xenon flash. You never know, I might hold off on getting an iPhone if something like this comes out!

There's some gorgeous renders here and the image slideshows are really well implimented.

Social Wallpapering

I've always had a broad spectrum of different desktops to swap between and this is a great repository for diverse high quality imagery (I've been downloading loads of stuff). The added dimension here is being able to run refined searches, upload and rate, etc.

Dote Design

Loving the carousel interface here, especially the way you can throw it back and forth (with motion blur) using the mouse scroll wheel. My only negative comment is that I don't think the typography does it justice - the font is tiny.

This is interesting - I played around with it for a while, but got frustrated that it wasn't giving much away. After a quick search I discovered it's actually a viral campaign for one of Nokia's new phones - the N81.

Direction, design and animation. Found this while googling Adam Gault, turns out Carlo Vega has worked on many projects: past and present with Adam and it looks like they can all be viewed here. I particularly like the simplicity of this portfolio, using CSS show/hide techniques to full effect.

An excellent showreel that I've been showing to lots of friends in the business recently, I particularly like the simplicity and minimalism of the site and the juxtaposition of the unusually slow audio against the diverse visuals.

Stranger Than Fiction

I was gobsmacked when I first saw these clips in Stranger Than Fiction, and thought they looked familiar, then I discovered they was done by MK12 - and they never cease to amaze.
