For me, this man defined 80's airbrush chic and holds the title 'Creator of the Sexy Robot'. The quality of his work is truly outstanding - especially when you consider that everything was done by hand.

There's a lot of other beautiful artwork on display, but be aware that most of it is far from 'work safe' ;-).

Just got back from the launch party for the Corked Art Show - one of the best street art and graffiti shows I've been to in a long time.

Works on display from Andre Firmiano , Charming Baker, Derek Albeck, Dotmasters, Eine, Gaia, Grafter, Herakut, Hush, Ian Strawn, Inkie, Know Hope, Labrona, Phillip March, Jones, Romanywg, Shok 1, The London Police, Vitche and Zeus - well worth a visit if you're in the area (it's on until the 1st September).

Lattico provides 3D models of the environment, using photogrammetric technology to collect three-dimensional spatial information. Derived from aerial data, their models are geographically correct, realistic representations of cities.

I've never seen this technology before, but judging by the gallery it looks very interesting. This is what Wikipedia has to say about it: Photogrammetry.

Incredibly detailed fictitious spacecraft, modelled in Bryce and using NASA and the ESA as a point of reference (which makes them seem all the more believable).

I've used Bryce myself for years and know how difficult it is to attain this level of detail. My only comment would be - maybe the addition of some depth of field to add realism to some of the final renders.

This is a very old link. I actually haven't visited this in years, but am pleasantly surprised to see it's still being maintained. I have always admired their low-poly graphical style and bulletproof interactivity. If you like old-school games and haven't seen it already - you'll love this.

Note: Many years ago I was the undefeated Boatrace champion (that shows true addiction and a testament to just how good these games really are).

Photographic documentation of street installations using manipulated train set figurines - left to to be discovered by passers-by observant enough to notice their discreet presence.

These really amaze me - it must be fantastic to actually come across one by accident.

There is a book available soon (which I think would be well worth getting) and also a treasure hunt to coincide with the launch - sounds like fun!

Great portfolio, especially some of the motion graphics - which can be viewed in their current showreel. I particularly like this bit of model making for the Next Wave Festival, it's nice to see people successfully combining traditional and digital skills.

They also have a self-published book called Consort that is available here - I have ordered myself a copy =)

Beatmaker mobile instruments and music creation for iPhone 2.0 - looks like a seriously well thought out bit of software (some of the GUI screenshots are lovely).

I watched this YouTube video demo, read more on the Intua site and think I might buy this to while away the hours on those long journeys!
