Twin

Really impressive motion work from this pair of Australian brothers. Two of my favourites are their adverts for Wrigley's Extra (because the characters are extremely cute), and the Nissan Powered Suit series.

Qube Konstrukt

Great portfolio, especially some of the motion graphics - which can be viewed in their current showreel. I particularly like this bit of model making for the Next Wave Festival, it's nice to see people successfully combining traditional and digital skills.

They also have a self-published book called Consort that is available here - I have ordered myself a copy =)

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4

Promotional video with impressive driving, relatively subtle use of infographics (with a touch of humour), and anyway - Lamborghini has always been my favorite car manufacturer.

The Holograms

The Holograms have some new work on show - and it's extremely good! Their MTV Bloom Ident reminds me of Truthtag's work a bit, but even better - it's animated.

Átila Meireles's elegant portfolio site has a refreshingly humorous start page and contains some compelling abstract images.

MK12

I watched the Kite Runner at the weekend and was completely captivated by the fluid beauty of the intro credits (they are not online yet unfortunately). It didn't come as too much of a surprise to discover that they had been produced by MK12.

I remember some years ago at Kioken, how completely blown away we were when we saw the two MK12 movies above. We went on to experiment with our own pseudo 3D effects - firstly using Combustion and then After Effects . It's a widely used effect now, but they are still incredible, so I thought I would post them.
